Dana and Mike Ferris started Larkfield in 2009 with one van. Today there are nine of us, and we still answer our own phone.
Local, and planning to stay that way
Mike spent twelve years installing systems for a big regional company before starting out on his own. Dana runs the office, the schedule and the phones. Most of our work comes from neighbors of people we’ve already helped.
We keep the team small on purpose. You’ll usually see the same faces each visit, and the person who quotes the job is the person who does it.

How we work
Three things we never skip

A price before we start
You see the price and say yes before any work begins. If we find something else, we stop and ask.

We fix what’s broken
If a repair makes more sense than a new system, we’ll tell you, even when the new system would earn us more.

We leave it tidy
Shoe covers on, drop cloths down, old parts taken away. You shouldn’t be able to tell we were there, apart from the heat.
